How Carbonless Builder® Consulting Works
Carbonless Consulting starts by looking at the home as a full building system, not just a collection of isolated problems. The process evaluates the climate zone, energy use, humidity, ventilation, wall assemblies, moisture risks, insulation strategy, and indoor air quality, then turns those findings into a practical retrofit plan. In this example, the consulting approach identifies high utility costs, missing ERV/HRV ventilation, vapor and humidity concerns, stucco-related rot risks, grade issues, and the need for thermal breaks, air sealing, Rockwool insulation, vapor-open assemblies, MERV 13+ filtration, and VOC monitoring. The goal is to help homeowners and builders stop guessing, reduce energy costs, prevent mold and rot, and create a healthier, longer-lasting home.
